Studebaker Avanti Microfiber Necktie
1962 Studebaker Avanti frame necktie. The Avanti was a dramatic departure from Studebaker's previous family sedans. Depicted is the Avanti's frame: the frame is the structural center of any vehicle. An extremely rare vehicle - only about 3500 were ever made in it's single year of production in South Bend Indiana. Perfect for collectors of exotic cars and automotive enthusiasts all around!
About the Avanti: The Studebaker Avanti was a personal luxury coupé built by the Studebaker Corporation between 1962 and 1963. Studebaker itself referred to the Avanti as "America's Only 4 Passenger High-Performance Personal Car!" in its sales literature. It later set 29 new national stock car speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats, earning it the title "World's Fastest Production Car."
