This very tie (in white on navy blue) was presented in Moscow on April 1 for the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's spaceflight. General Tom Stafford met with the two Russian cosmonauts that he and his Apollo crew docked with on the historic Apollo-Soyuz mission in 1975. This tie was also presented to the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

So far we’ve received photos of astronauts Al Worden, Neil Armstrong, Charlie Duke, General Tom Stafford, Dan Brandenstein, Scott Carpenter, Dick Gordon, Jim Lovell, Gene Cernan, and Leroy Chiao all wearing our Cyberoptix space-themed ties and we couldn’t be more proud. From images of Apollo Lunar Landers to Saturn V Rockets and the SR-71 -- we have gifts for rocket scientists, pilots and aviation fans.
